Create a project
One project is one product. Open the project menu in the sidebar, choose “Add a new site” and enter your product's address. You can collapse the sidebar at any time (⌘B) and switch the dashboard language from the top bar.
Setup 1 — Crawl
Press “Crawl site”. Monstral opens your product in a real browser, finds its pages and describes every element; the live log shows what it is doing.
- checkBehind a login? Add a test user under Test login. You can edit it later without retyping the password.
- checkCrawl history keeps every run with its duration, page count, sign-in result and engine log.
Setup 2 — Analyze
Most pages are analyzed during the crawl. This step fills in pages that are missing or failed.
Setup 3 — Document
Generate the product understanding document and correct anything that is wrong — the assistant talks with this knowledge.
- checkAdd your own documents (FAQ, pricing policy, glossary). For each one choose what it is for: the assistant's chat, the hover and tour texts, or both.
Setup 4 — Approve
Approving builds the demo from your pages and the elements switched on, and starts translating the texts into your demo languages. Run it again after a new crawl to bring new pages in.
Edit hotspots on your site
Hotspots & Tours lists every crawled page. “Edit on site” opens the page on your own domain with a side panel: pick an element in the list — or click it on the page — to highlight it, switch it on or off, and rewrite its label and hover text. Saving updates the live demo immediately.
- checkThe snippet must be installed for on-site editing (it stays invisible to visitors while the demo is off).
- check“Improve with documents” rewrites a page's hover texts using the documents you marked for hover texts.
Pre-tour survey
Ask up to five short questions before the first tour — single choice, multiple choice or free text. Answers appear under Visitor & Lead Intel and are passed to the assistant so it tailors the conversation.
Publish
- checkCopy the snippet into your site and press “Verify installation” — it checks your page, your Content-Security-Policy, the allowed domains and whether the widget really connected.
- checkAllowed domains: add your own sites so nobody else can run your assistant.
- checkAssistant behavior: stay on topic, no price negotiation, suggest a meeting with your booking link.
- checkDemo languages: English, Turkish, German, French and Spanish. Content is translated automatically; the chat answers in the visitor's language.
- checkSwitch the demo on when you are ready.
Follow your visitors
- checkLeads: an AI summary, interest score and recommended next step for every session.
- checkVisitor flows: a diagram of the paths visitors take through your product and where they drop off.
- checkSurvey answers: how visitors answered your questions.
Integrations & alerts
Under Integrations add a Slack channel or any webhook (Zapier, Make, n8n, your CRM) and send a test. Under Alerts choose when to be notified — for example when a visitor's interest score reaches 4 — and where.
